House Rules
The House Rules exist to protect the atmosphere of the Club and the experience of those within it. They are not designed to be restrictive, but to ensure the House remains comfortable, considered and consistent for all Members and their guests.

By entering the Club, Members agree to observe these guidelines and to take responsibility for the conduct of their guests at all times. The rules are applied with discretion and good judgement, in keeping with the character of the House.

The Dress Code
The Mulberry Club is a historic house in a contemporary city. We ask Members and their guests to dress with consideration for the setting and for one another. The aim is not uniformity, but a shared understanding of taste, restraint and occasion.

Clean, well-kept footwear is essential. Smart trainers may be worn, provided they are discreet and in good condition. Casual, worn, or overtly sporting footwear is not suitable. Clothing that is distressed, excessively casual, or designed for leisure rather than a social setting does not reflect the tone of the House.
The Dress Code is not intended to feel rigid. It relies on good judgement. Members and guests are encouraged to dress in a way that feels appropriate to a private house where time is taken and standards are shared.

Please note that cloakroom space is limited. Large items such as suitcases, bicycles, scooters or similar cannot be accommodated.

Generally Appropriate
Smart jeans may be worn, provided they are plain, well-fitted and in good repair.
Plain t-shirts may be worn when paired with a jacket.
Tailored shorts may be worn by ladies; denim shorts are not suitable.
Smart leather jackets may be worn earlier in the day.
Discreet, well-maintained leather or formal trainers are acceptable.
Not Appropriate
Gym shoes, running shoes, hiking boots or casual trainers.
Shorts for gentlemen.
Ripped or distressed denim.
Sportswear, gymwear or athleisure outside of specific Club-organised activities.
Hats within the House, unless part of a designated event.
Flip-flops, sliders or casual sandals.
Heavily branded or logo-led clothing.
Streetwear or overtly casual attire, including hoodies, tracksuits and leggings.
Attire that is not appropriate to a private social setting.

The House reserves the right to decline entry where attire does not meet these guidelines. This applies equally to Members and their guests.
Conduct
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is considerate of others at all times. Behaviour that causes disruption, discomfort, or offence to other Members, guests, or staff will not be tolerated. The House reserves the right to ask any Member or guest to leave the premises where their conduct falls below the standard expected, and persistent issues may result in a formal review of membership.

Excessive intoxication is not in keeping with the character of the House and may result in the Member or their guest being asked to leave.

Mobile phones should be kept on silent and out of sight. For the comfort and privacy of all Members, photography and video recording are not permitted anywhere within the Club, including for social media purposes.

Telephone calls and laptop use are limited to designated areas and times, as set by the House.

Privacy and the Comfort of Others
One of the founding principles of the Mulberry Club is that every person within the House is entitled to complete privacy and the freedom to enjoy the Club undisturbed.

Members and guests are asked to be mindful that others may wish to spend time at the Club without being approached, recognised, or engaged. Unsolicited approaches to other Members or guests, whether for business, personal, or any other purpose, are not in keeping with the spirit of the House and will not be tolerated.

The identity, presence, and activities of those within the Club are considered entirely private. Members must not share, discuss, or disclose information about other Members or guests encountered at the Club, whether in person, in writing, or on any platform.

The House asks that all those within it extend to others the same discretion and respect they would wish to receive themselves.

Smoking and Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the Club. Designated areas outside the premises may be made available at the discretion of the House. Members are asked to be considerate of others when smoking outside.

Guests
Members may bring a maximum of two guests per visit without prior arrangement. Groups larger than this require advance notice and are subject to approval by the House. The House reserves the right to limit guest numbers at any time in order to maintain the comfort and atmosphere of the Club.

All guests must be registered with the House on arrival. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests are signed in and are made aware of the House Rules before entering.

Guests remain the responsibility of the Member at all times and must not be left unattended within the House. Should a guest's conduct fall below the standard expected, the Member accepts that this may result in a review of their own membership.

Guests may not visit the Club unaccompanied under any circumstances. Regular guests who wish to enjoy the Club independently are encouraged to apply for membership in the usual way.

Membership, reservations, or access to the House may not be sold, transferred or offered to guests or third parties under any circumstances. Applications for membership must be made directly and may not be facilitated through third-party concierge services.

Dining and Reservations
Reservations for the Club's restaurant are not required but are strongly recommended. Walk-in dining is welcomed, however the House cannot guarantee table availability for those arriving without a reservation, particularly during busier periods.

Peacock's Bar and the Louis Roederer Champagne Lounge operate on a walk-in basis only and do not accept reservations. Members and guests are welcome to take a seat whenever they visit.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor until 5pm. Dogs must remain off furniture and under the control of their owner at all times. Members are responsible for the behaviour of their dogs within the House.

Children
The Mulberry Club is an adult environment. Members under the age of 18 are not permitted, and guests under the age of 18 may not be brought into the Club under any circumstances.

Private Events
From time to time, areas of the Club may be reserved for private events or hire. On such occasions, access to certain spaces may be restricted for the duration of the event. The House will endeavour to communicate any significant restrictions to Members in advance where possible.
Security and Privacy
For the safety and security of Members, guests and staff, the premises are monitored by CCTV. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Club's Privacy Policy.
Reciprocal Members
The Club may from time to time enter into reciprocal arrangements with other private members clubs. Visiting reciprocal members are expected to observe the same House Rules as full Members of the Mulberry Club and are the responsibility of the House for the duration of their visit.

The House Rules are reviewed periodically and may be updated at the discretion of the Club. Members will be notified of any material changes.
By maintaining membership of the Club, Members agree to observe the current House Rules at all times.

Those visiting must adhere to the Club's Dress Code and Rules above, as well as the Access Terms and Conditions.
